THIS YEAR marks 30 years of Blanco marketing stainless steel kitchen appliances in Australia, and 85 years delivering European kitchen technology solutions to the world. To celebrate, Blanco will roll out a new range of kitchen appliances that reflect the emerging trends of combining the beauty of black glass with the elegance of stainless steel.
Among these, Blanco has introduced an induction cooktop in a metallic champagne colour in response to the demand of having flushed, integrated cooktops that will blend in with light coloured bench tops.
The FD9085FX dual fuel freestanding cooker (pictured below) retains its current features of eight oven functions, five gas burners with wok and fish burner, full inner glass door, tripled glaze door and the red LED soft touch control fully programmable panel. The new model now sports five shelf positions, two telescopic runners and an increased capacity of 104 litres.

THE STAINLESS steel oven is facing competition from the latest look in kitchen appliances: black glass.
Omega has released one of the first alternatives to stainless steel with its new collection of black glass cooktops. The Aria collection contains three gas cooktops in a range of widths and burners, and all feature a front-mounted stainless steel control panel with the hob of the appliance on a single sheet of tempered black glass.
The Aria cooktops can be teamed with ovens and rangehoods in the same style.
